Old work that's one of the very few things I got back from a high school art class... Been meaning to upload it for a while.

Made this with a reference picture on hand.. I forget what the technique is called. Scratchboard? The thing where you scratch a layer of ink off the white background? Yeah.

I think it turned out rather nifty. :D

Love it! Reminds me of Foggy. Great job though, the scratchboard stuff is fun, but can be a real pain in the ass at times as well.

it's very nifty. i love the high contrast as the light hits and highlights. i think the detail on the feathers are beautiful, and very finely done. and i do love birds of prey, they are one of my favorite subjects to portray.
